Wanneer ’n minderjarige uit ’n bestorwe boedel erf, moet die eksekuteur die geld in beginsel aan die Meester betaal vir deposito in die Guardian’s Fund, tensy ’n hof die eksekuteur daarvan vrystel. Die Fund hou dan ’n rekening in die naam van die persoon aan wie die geld behoort, of soms in die naam van die boedel waaruit dit kom. 34

’n Natuurlike voog kan nie bloot die minderjarige se erfgeld ontvang nie. Tensy die testament uitdruklik anders bepaal, vereis betaling aan die voog sekuriteit wat die Meester aanvaar, sodat die geld of die waarde van roerende eiendom aan die minderjarige betaal of gelewer kan word wanneer hy of sy daarop geregtig raak. Die Meester kan ook ’n voog skriftelik vra vir ’n beëdigde verklaring met besonderhede oor die geld of eiendom. 1
